Community Involvement
At the Animal Hospital of Ashwaubenon, caring for the health and well-being of companion animals is always our first priority. Beyond this, however, we also feel strongly about the importance of giving back to the community in which we live and work. Serving the needs of our fellow citizens – both two-legged and four – is something each one of us is passionate about.
Our doctors and staff members volunteer their time to work at local churches, schools, and community organizations in the Green Bay area. We also frequently put our professional training to use within the community by actively promoting responsible pet ownership and education. We’ve worked with several area non-profits and regularly participate in spay/neuter days.
For example, to show our support for our local Humane Societies, we extend a special offer to all new pet owners adopting from these groups. This offer includes a complimentary initial office visit within the first 30 days following adoption – a savings of $75. The organizations included in this offer are:
- Wisconsin Humane Society-Green Bay Campus
- Oconto County Humane Society
- Fox Valley Humane Society
- Door County Humane Society
- Shawano County Humane Society
- Manitowoc Humane Society
Finally, we’re honored to play a role in educating the youth of our community who may someday become involved in the veterinary field. To that end, our doctors speak at local schools to raise awareness about responsible pet care as well as discuss future career opportunities. We also welcome school tours of our facility and host first aid seminars for local dog clubs.
At the Animal Hospital of Ashwaubenon, we’re proud to be part of the beautiful Green Bay community. Moreover, we are truly privileged to play a part in making it such a wonderful place to live and work.
