Puppy Preschool

Too many ruined shoes? Too many accidents? Too much begging?

Puppy Preschool is the Answer!

Learn about our Obedience Classes at the Animal Hospital of Ashwaubenon

Back by popular demand, the Animal Hospital of Ashwaubenon has reinstated its popular Puppy Preschool. The intention of puppy class is to have puppies under 5 months of age gain social skills and learn basic obedience commands. It is very important for this age group to be well socialized as this heads off many behavior problems that develop throughout a pet’s life. Class size is kept small to allow you time with instructors for one on one training time.

We must have a minimum of 6 puppies to hold class

The Animal Hospital of Ashwaubenon is proud to offer this class and will be happy to have you join us on Tuesday evenings. Each class runs for 6 consecutive weeks (skipping holidays) in the lobby of the hospital from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. The cost for the class is $ 115.00

The class is unique to other preschool classes. Instructors Kris and Katie have a wealth of knowledge and practical experience working with animals. We combine the obedience aspect of training, but also give you a practical look at healthcare topics geared toward the puppies age and helpful behavior topics that you can use immediately to help you curb any undesirable habits that may be starting.

Each week at class, we teach a different obedience command and cover various health subjects. We go through numerous behavior concerns such as: housebreaking, barking, biting, jumping, playing games, and item protection.

At the end of each class, we encourage our furry family members to have some fun. This time is called puppy playtime. The puppies are allowed to run and play with their classmates in a controlled setting.

If you have any questions, please call the Animal Hospital of Ashwaubenon at 499-0805; ask for Kris or Katie.

We want to acknowledge the excellent care we have received from everyone at the clinic. Dr. Gass and his staff have been courteous, helpful and very caring and have gone far out of the way to accommodate our needs. John and Marilyn thank you!

After receiving denials of same day “urgent” appointments from our current vet (of 6 years) twice in a 6 month period, Animal Hospital of Ashwaubenon took care of us and saw our dog in both times of need. We officially will never go anywhere else .
